VIZITEQ - the company.

Viziteq Ltd. is an Anglo-French alliance, formed in 2008, to combine the technological strengths of Diagonale Sud Technology (DST) and Seasmic.

Diagonale Sud Technology (DST) is well-known in France and Europe as an established research and development laboratory with an emphasis on heated clothing and wearable technologies. DST has carried out work for defence agencies, military contracts and world-class sports clothing companies. DST has undertaken development projects with trading partners involving co-polymer engineering and FIR (Far Infra-Red Rays) heating elements. This (FIR) technology is used today by both Seasmic and Viziteq in their heated clothing ranges.

Seasmic started out in life (some 4 years ago) developing heated clothing products for the maritime and fishing industries. The fishing industry welcomed the Seasmic products with open arms and the heated clothing products meant that fishermen could effectively REMOVE up to 3 layers of bulky clothing, yet be warmer and have more freedom of movement.

Batteries are recharged onboard via the vessel's power supply, giving permanent heating capability. Recharge times are around 1 hour, whereas battery life is up to 5.5hours.

This exciting technology has now been developed for everyday use by people around the world, thanks to the pioneering development carried out by DST.
